Revealing a new coffee and a new supplier

It's time to reveal the second single-origin coffee that will feature in our Christmas Box and Mark has been champing at the bit to share this one with you for weeks.

We've promised you coffees from across the globe and today's release comes all the way from the Americas. Costa Rica, to be precise.

What's extra exciting about this coffee is that it's our first ever coffee from a new supplier.

Mark was on the lookout for a coffee from the Americas to include in this year's Christmas Box when he met Dylan Aguilera at Caffe Culture last month.

Dylan is part of Hermanos Aguilera (Aguilera Brothers) - a total of 12 siblings who have been very well known in the West Valley Region of Costa Rica for their incredible coffee.

The family has been growing coffee for the past six decades and for more than a quarter of that time they have been focused on the production of specialty coffee.

Their farms produce more than 35 different varieties of Arabica coffee between them using a variety of processes including some experimental processes.

In 2022, Dylan founded Aguilera Coffee Traders, a green coffee export and import company which has its roots firmly embedded in the West Valley.

Aguilera Coffee Traders specialises in producing and exporting high-quality specialty coffee.

Dylan is a third-generation coffee expert who has championed his family's legacy of coffee excellence, earning the title of Costa Rican Cup Tasting Champion in 2023.

When Mark met Dylan at Caffe Culture he was excited to learn that Aguilera Coffee Traders could supply a honey-process Costa Rican coffee to feature in the Christmas Box.

This is a very delicate coffee with a citrus fruit body and flavours of walnuts and honey.

This amazing coffee joins the Foundry Christmas blend, the Mills Christmas blends and the Mooleh Manay natural coffee from India in the Christmas Box, with one more single-origin coffee left to be revealed.

What we can say is this will be a washed coffee from Africa but you'll have to wait until November 25 to find out more.

Until then, we're giving everyone who orders a Christmas Box or Decaf Christmas Box 15% off. This discount will only be in place until the final coffee is revealed so don't delay.
