This blog post is an especially exciting one for us. We've been waiting for so long to share it with you. And now, finally, we can tell you all about our BRAND NEW ROASTER.

Sorry for shouting there; we're just so excited.

That's right, we've now taken delivery of - and finally had chance to unwrap - a brand new machine from Golden Coffee Roasters.

This fantastic piece of equipment has double the roasting capacity of our previous roaster, at 20kg, which will enable us to more efficiently fulfil wholesale orders and process large quantities of coffee for subscriptions and the like.

It's also part of our growth strategy, enabling us to roast larger quantities of coffee in less time, and in turn enabling us to fulfil more orders.

This dream machine is double insulated, making it more energy efficient, so it will have a positive impact on the environment and our overheads.

It's got lots of bells and whistles, including a fancy chaff collector, a near-silent motor (which means hopefully we can get Mark recording more videos for you while the roaster is going now!) and our own chosen colour scheme.

We're very grateful to have received some small business grant funding which has enabled us to secure this upgrade. Investing for growth can be a challenge for small businesses and we wouldn't have been able to take delivery of this roaster so soon into 2025 without the match funding support we received.

We're also very grateful to Ugur and the team at Golden Coffee Roasters for building and supplying the new roaster (and its predecessor!). We love the quality and efficiency of Golden's products and they've just got better and better over the years, which is why we've gone for another of their machines.
