'Mondays are better with this coffee' - the power of the review
We've had some amazing feedback from customers over the last couple of weeks about our China Guiben coffees, with one reviewer even telling us it made Monday mornings better. High praise indeed!
Coffee subscriber Charlie said: "We got the Guiben beans in our monthly coffee pack and loved them so much that we had to order ourselves another kilo."
"This is the saintly, alcohol-free cousin of a dark spiced rum! The rich, chocolatey, slightly-caramelised flavours combined with the tang of the naturally-dried beans blew us away.
"Monday mornings are considerably better with a freshly brewed cup of Guiben coffee in hand."
Meanwhile, Kiran told us: "The Chinese beans you sent out last month were incredible - took me a couple of cups to get used to the very unique flavour profile but massively grew on me! Loved them by the end of the month."
And Kenn said simply: "Really liked the Chinese beans. Top stuff."
Now, we're almost out of these particular beans - like one-or-two-bags-left-almost-out - but it's not all bad news as Mark's already planning to order in some more next year.
The equally good news is we've got a selection of other delicious coffees available to order so, even if you miss out on the Guiben beans this time, there's no need to miss out on great coffee. (But if you're super quick you might just manage to get your hands on the last of our current Guiben batch)
We just wanted to take a moment to thank Charlie, Kiran and Kenn, and everyone else who's shared their joy about our coffees, either publicly or to family, friends, colleagues or anyone else.
We love it when customers send us reviews of our coffees and we love it even more when they share their reviews with others.
After all, we're bound to say our coffees are great because we want you to buy them. Our customers - the people who choose to buy and drink our coffees - saying they're great is one of the most effective things for encouraging other people to buy.
We've seen firsthand the impact that seeing another customer's glowing review of one of our coffees can have on its sales.
We can easily forget how powerful word of mouth is but it's so amazing and so appreciated, particularly by small businesses like ours that don't have the massive advertising budgets that huge corporations have.
So thank you to everyone who already helps to spread the word about us and our coffees. You are amazing and we couldn't do what we do without you.
