Beautiful coffee cups hand made by a company in Kenya called Kazuri. During our time in Kenya, we visited this lovely place and managed to see the many women working tirelessly in making beautiful beads. Kazuri provides a place for these women to continue earning a wage.
According to their website:
"Kazuri, derived from the Swahili word for "small and beautiful," was founded in 1975 by Lady Susan Wood in Nairobi, Kenya with not much but a love for collecting beads and a dream to create employment opportunities for women from the area."
The cup were done in a glaze that both reflects the African sunset and Shiloh colours. We hope they bring you as much joy as they do to us.
